Silly question about bottom painting....

When you put the boat up on jacks and pull the trailer out to paint the bottom, how do you paint the areas where the jacks make contact??? especially if using a paint that takes a while to cure. Is there a trick that I'm not thinking about or do you just have to do one part, wait until it is fully cured, etc.. and then move the jacks and do the rest?

You pretty much summed it up. Paint, wait for the paint to dry enough to move your jack stands to different points and then finish off the job.

maybe put the jacks somewhere where you can get to the last places once it's back on the trailer????
