Simple Engine Mount and Hardware Question

I put a new SeaCast transom on my boat. Now I am mounting the outboard Evinrude 90 hp and U bolts for tubing.

Do I need a piece of metal to reinforce these, or are large metal washers good enough?

Large wide stainless steel fender washer's are fine
