Simple Question

I have an early 70's 135 HP Evinrude with some ignition problems. I'm wondering if anyone know what manual or online resource is going to be the best for DVA Voltage measurements, and also where is a good place to buy an affordable well working DVA for a Digital Multimeter. I have a Clymer Manual but all there test procedures require a neon Test swith.

Peak Reading meters come up on fleabay from time to time, lookup peak reading adapters (there are some listed), I posted plans to build one a few posts ago with some standard electronics, cost me $40 but I haven't tested it, I checked it with a 9V and it worked ok....
