Probably. But to be sure read what cables are used for that particular remote control and Evinrude outboards.

Ok thanks, have always had separate levers and like it better. Bought a 20 ft Lowe pontoon and it has the duel action single lever. Having some shift problems due to stretched shift cable thought this would be a good time to change control

In that case get a dual handle control with both cables meant for Evinrude outboards. If you keep the old cables the control won't work any better.

Which remote are you looking at? Some are better than others.

Looking at the CH 5600 I will have to use a separate trim and key switch so I'm not sure if that's the best choice. Any recommendations?

With that control you need Evinrude Universal cables and one of two connection kits depending on the year of the motor. The blurb below is from HERE.
  • Fits: After market control heads
  • Fits: Evinrude engines pre-1979 using CA27321P connection kit and Evinrude engines 1979-date using CA27320P connection kit
  • Connection kits are required to complete the connection to the engine
  • Match both cable ends

For trim and tilt along with an ignition switch, things get a little trickier. Single lever top mounts can have TnT switches, but few dual levers have them. No top mounts that I've seen have the key switch.

Maybe it would be best to stay with the control you have now and replace the cables mentioned in the other thread. On a pontoon a single lever is probably easier to use.
