Looks like I need to replace the bottom part of the single point drain system. Where the blue plug screws in is leaking. If I thigten it up the leak gets worse. So I'm guessing the bottom piece has a crack in it.

What is the name of the bottom part where the blue plug is located?

In your case the year in your sig is good but we really need the serial number. I looked around and found the part number for the water distribution housing (WDH). The WDH can be one of three part numbers, and BT Doctur made one out of PVC pipe and fittings. Basically the 3 point system is the worst thing that was ever invented. If it works its great, but if it doesn't your replacing your motor. Its item 1 in the link below

Add up all those plastic parts and your better off getting rid of all of it and just installing proper marine pet cocks on the engine and manifolds; the kind you can rod out to make sure all the water drains.

Do I need to replace all the parts or just the WDH? Since that is the place that is cracked

I've been lucky and have not had to do much repair to the boat. Where do I find the serial number?

Does anyone have a tutorial to show how to do this? Doesn't look to hard but I have a few questions on how to take apart the drain rod assembly.

It really is best to get rid of the hole system, but its not that hard to replace. You just need the WDH just need to figure out which one it is. Don't know what the differences are but maybe Fun Times can advise and if Bt Doctur can show his one made from PVC

Since you mentioned having a drain rod... The info below should be your assembly with a how to change it out too. The rod with the blue handle has an E-clip under the bracket item # 10..Once removed, the handle will unscrew from the lower drain housing.

If you have the Water Drain system with the Air Manifold and Pump Then things would be a bit different than the above info..
