Skeggard?

Hello, I broke off a bit of my Skeg last summer, I was looking at buying a parts motor but then came across this product. I'm wondering if anyone else has used the Skeggard? What did you think of it, or was there a similar product that you preferred?

I did the same thing on my old boat, also bought a skeggard. Worked pretty good. Easy to install.

You can get a new skeg welded on to your motor. I know Merc sells replacements. It is likely other OEMs do as well. A good welder can weld it onto the gearcase, without draining the gear oil.
