I have a good one. When I was a kid, I was a pretty good slalom skier. The thing is, I wore coke bottle glasses and could not really see much when I was skiing. The banks were just brown and green blurs (The Tree lines). This one time out I was flying outside of the boats wake when all of a sudden my ski was yanked off of my feet and I went flying through the air like superman or something. My dad and brother came back to pick me up and they were cracking up laughing. I got on board, dried off, and put my glasses on. That was about when my dad pulled up to the ski (He and my brother were still laughing). The ski rudder was planted solidly into the rather large log that I had ran over. At this point I started laughing. It took several good tugs to yank it free.

Hey Windykid,

I have done a lot of work at Ft. Hood and stayed at several of the Killeen hotels. What is the name of that big lake on the military post? I would live to get out on it.

year ago there was a slalom call a Ski Scat, 20 inches long, huge plastic fin. you had to use a drop ski to get up, i had cut across the wake, but as i did my sister went into a turn, cutting across the wake put me at about 50mph, she went in to the turn, which put me at about 70mph. then the fin broke. we still don't know how many cartwheels i did across the top of the water. yes it hurt,
