Thanks to all who helped with my skeg issue a couple weeks ago. My new problem is more severe, I'm afraid. Losing an anchor and learning to never let my wife back the trailer in the water again, pale in comparison. When I tried to power up the motor seemed to slip into 'neutral' and backing off the throttle would allow the prop to pick back up. I was aboard an acquaintances' boat that developed this problem but didn't learn the reason or resolve. Thank you guys for your time and sharing your smarts!
