guys this will take my a loooooonnnnngggg time to type and my computer will not stay on line for more then ten minutes, once I GET this fixed i will tell you guys... most likely I will have to send a picture snail mail to JB and ask him to scan it.
Hmmmm. Chainsaw carbs I have messed with have built-in fuel pumps operated off of crankcase pulses, just like regular outboard fuel pumps..<br /><br />I wonder if the Sloop has an idea of pumping oil with that pump and gas with the regular fuel pump. Hmmm. But how would it control the ratio?<br /><br />Chainsaws also have a seperate (usually mechanical) oil pump to lube the chain. I wonder if he got that confused with lubing the engine. It does match volume with rpm.<br /><br />Stay tuned for the answer!

I have a 15 hp Merc that I was considering trading for a clean running 4 stroke but now there is a chance I can prolong its useful life. <br /><br />A smart kid like you can type it up in MS Word off line (even use spell check) and then paste your thesis into the iboats post in 30 seconds.

What size carb does it take, I have 2 old chainsaws one is a sears and the other is some real odd brand, both are wore out and was going to trash both, but haved saved the carbs and linkage after I saw your post on this.
