Hey everyone, yesterday I got my boat running for the first time this year. This morning I came outside and looked at it and I noticed a decent sized spot where it appears oil and/or other sludge drained out of the tailpipe overnight. Anyone have any ideas if this is normal? Last winter is was fogged and winterized appropriately. I am wondering if I should be concerned. Attachments: sludge picture.

All mine do it. Any carbon leaking out is carbon not sticking to a ring ;-)

the unburned oil in the fuel needs to go somewhere. depending on the oil you use, and how hard you run it, it may sludge up in the exhaust as shown.

run it like you rented it before coming in, and most will burn out.
