small inboard motor?

what is a good website that i can get a small inboard motor between 2 and 7-8 horsepower? and how much do they usually cost?

Interesting, If you do put it in a kayak, please post pictures. Maybe looking to downsize do to high fuel costs?

You may want to look at some of the RC boating stuff. They do run some larger boats with some crazy engines that might be in that range.

well... I am thinking of building a mini tug boat between 10 and 14 feet and I will need something to power it. my choices are
small inboard
small outboard
inboard electric motor

I'd just get a small outboard. It's going to be a LOT more work to try and build an inboard setup, for not really much return.

The whole idea of inboards is more power. If you just want a low-power rig anyway, why not keep it simple?
