Small oil deposit

I recently became 1st time boat owner of this boat and motor ,and I am in the process of synchronizing.I ran this 1987 Evinrude 120 hp v4 on the garden hose for 45 min at idle.The following day I noticed thick black oil on the floor under and just forward of the prop, about 1/16 to 1/8 of a cup, not much really.At idle and in neutral the prop did spin some from exhaust pressure.

Is this normal or do I have a gear case issue to look for?

Normal, unburned oil from the engine which is over-oiled with no load.
