Smart Tabs SX Install W/Pics

Well I ordered the smart tabs sx a few weeks back, got around to install them and figured I would share the pics with you guys. Havn't had a chance to test them out but we are headed out this weekend and will report how well they work on my 88 20'5" VIP with a 5.7.

Before i had alot of bow rise and kinda of slow out of the hole if i had a couple extra adults in the boat, that was my whole reason for getting them.

I have had mine on my 1600 Bayliner and they made it perform like a new boat. In the two years I have had them, I am one happy camper.

Install looks good, I feel sure you will be happy, may or may not have to make an adjustment or two. I have the SS version and have run them for close to 4 years, they are great.

Looks great. As others have said, remember that you probably WILL need to adjust them.

I've got a set of 40's on my Sea Rayder. They are almost mandatory for these little jet boats. Here's an installation page I did for my Sea Rayder group.

Actually I never "needed" to adjust mine. The instructions say to start on hole #3 and that's where they wound up...perfect. I tried hole #2-5 and 3 was the best.

So if it runs well, you don't have to adjust at all.

Hate to bring an old thread up, but it was mine. I just wanted to let everone know that the Smartabs have been the best money I have spent on the boat. They do excactly as advertised. AND.. i had one of the gas actuators go out last week, contacted Naticus via e-mail, told them my delima and without question sent me not only a new replacement, but sent me 2 of them! 1 for both sides, Now that is a dang good company right there.

Add another vote for Smart Tabs. I have the SX 60lb. It is the best money spent on a boat. They do exactly what they advertise.
