I know alot has been posted on here lately about all the benefits of having these, enough so that mine will arrive tomorrow. What I havent read about is if these will interfere with function of a stern mounted depth/fish finder transducer? Are there any certain distances from the transducer that the tab must be? Thanks in advance.

Steve

As long as you don't cover up the transducer you should have no problems. You will surely enjoy the new addition to your rig!

Re: smart tabs?????

My depth finder works better, without any signal issues, than it did before I put on the SmartTabs. My transducer is mounted 10 inches inboard of the left edge of the right tab and 15 inches outboard of the centered transom drain plug.

nysono;

Do you have a hydrofoil on the antiventilation plate? If not try reducing the presure on the trim tabs a bit. See pages 8 and 9 in the manual. Top speed should be a bit faster, not slower. This is a good guide to the correct presure setting.
