nautiJohn:

I ran into a chat stream out here and was very interested in what you had to say. BTW, I am very familar with light aviation & I think your flap anaolgy is right on. Now to my specific boat.

I have a '91 Rinker 186 Captiva. 18'-6 about 2300 lbs dry, about 2650 w/ full fuel and maybe 3000 lbs with passengers & gear. Engine is a Merc Alpha One 4.3L 2bbl e.g. about 175 HP w/ a 19" pitch SS prop. What I'm looking for is more holeshot and less bowrise.

Please advise if you believe your product would be suitable for my application.

BTW: I visited your web site and you've definiately got some problems with text overrun and formatting. I am using IE 6 at 1024x768 resolution.

Your Info@nauticusinc.com mailbox is over quota: emails keep getting bounced back. These are issues that will lose you business.

Email me offline at tony@nu-waycorp.com and we can chat about it.

Thanks in advance,

Re: Smart Tabs

Bucky Boat

Thank you for the input and i will check our site ASAP.

As for your application I would use the ST1290-60 not the -80.

Your boat is very mainstream for our application, and I guarantee that you will be more than happy.

If you have read the answers I have given to others I do not need to be redundant. But, if you have any other questions or are not clear, let me know and I will be very pleased to help. I am not the most knowledgable person on motor positions, prop types, engine set backs etc. What I do know is that a rigid hull (all boats) can not perform efficiently over a broad range of use, as well as one with a "adjustable hull".
