Smartcraft component compatibility, 60ELPTEFI

Hi All,
I have a 2002 60ELPTEFI, serial number OT524051 and am wanting to install a Smartcraft monitor. I'm wondering if I'm on the right track. These parts are NOS.

System Monitor: 79-879896K4
Harness: 84-879982T20

Am I correct in assuming if I want to add a tachometer gauge I would need to add a junction box, and cable to the setup?
