Smashed engine cowling

Somehow I managed to trash the starboard lower cowling on my 95 48 Special. I suppose a new one will cost me the farm. Anybody got any ideas where to get a replacement such as from salvage?

I have been unable to contact Superior Marine Salvage. Anybody have any other suggestions?

Go to marinas and ask, maybe a lead to a boneyard somewhere!............L

Leopoldo you are probably right. Have checked at a couple, but no luck. Will try Orlando. I heard there is a salvage yard somewhere over there. I guess I should price a new one from OMC just to have a ref point. Scary thought. I do know there is a fiberglass repair center not far from me. They fix the boat crashes. Maybe they could resurrect it for me.
