If you don't know where the blower is, how did you determine its been smoked? The speedo is non-electric. Three parts to it. Head, tubing between it and the pitot at the back of the boat. Chances are the pitot is either plugged or the tubing is pinched.

Impossible to say on an 18 year old boat, but you might look around the 3 or 4 inch air duct hoses that go to and from them for the the bilge air intake and exhaust. You will find it attached in there somewhere.

Yep, follow these steps in order until it works.
Step 1: Check the battery voltage for 12.8+V
Step 2: Check the fuse for the blower
Step 3: Check for battery voltage to the switch
Step 4: Check for battery voltage from the switch
Step 5: Check for battery voltage at the blower
Step 6: Replace the blower

Well,....

You could Start by Checking to see if there's Power at where the Wires are attached to the Blower.........

Or,...

You could just Pull it Out,+ have a Real Close Look at it,.....
Maybe Bench Test it......

I'm Guessing that your Diagnosis is Right,.......
So you Still have to Pull it Out to see What you need to replace it with......

If you left it on, it's either melted the plastic somewhere, or you won't be able to easily spin the works. They're usually a pain to service. Access is always awful.
