Hello everyone,

I have a quick question. I went boating for my last time yesterday for about an hour up and down the river for about 1 hour. Anyway, I noticed at start up that my engine smokes a whitish color and also a little after I have ran it for a while. I haven't ran the motor for about a month ago and figured I would give her a last little run before the season is over. All in all she ran good no sputtering missing or any hesitation when going into and out of a no wake zone, she picked up pretty smoothly and ran fine. Also the water temperature was registering 70 degrees on my depth finder. Is this normal for the whitish smoke at start up and a little after the 1 hour run?

Tahasdaddy,

How fast does your 88 SPL push your boat? Mine pushes around 45 MPH according to the speedometer pitot.
