smoking out breather lines 4.3 mercruiser

the engine is smoking out of the breather lines that go from the valve covers to the air cleaner. So the engine compartment is filliing with smoke. The temp is ok on the gauge but it seems like the engine is getting hotter than normal.

Is there any water in your oil? Need to know this first.

ya there was alot before and i just did the head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets. then i changed the oil. but im wondering if there is a chance that there could have been a little water traped anywhere in the motor cause now the new oil has a lil water in it
