I read this morning that they are quite tasty.<br /><br />Unfortunately, as our world shrinks, we will probably see more of these types of infestations.<br /><br />My kids had to wear swim shoes this summer, due to Zebra Mussels in Indiana lakes.

Very interesting articles. I was very impressed by the fisherman who caught one, photographed it and released it! <br /><br />It's sad to think that the DNR in MD is considering killing the entire pond off. Heck the publicity alone is a windfall! I'm sure that Bill and Hilary miss their pet fish <br /><br />Yes, JB there are recipies for fish soup out there for these critters. <br /><br />Bob

Kind of interesting how this whole thing has been blown out of proportion by the national media seeing that this pond is not much more than a sediment pond behind a local strip mall. Poison the darn things and be done with it.

I just got a phone call on this issue, can't believe how fast the word is spreading, best these be gone or that's all you will be catching, and watch out for the dog and small children.
