As you can see from the pictures i have snapped my driveshaft on my VP 5.0FL with a DP-C1 outdrive. I have upper gear box off with part of shaft in it and the other part is still in the back of engine...how do i remove them both and replace/get fixed?

The piece connected to the engine side should pull right out, it may be tougher than that from the water intrusion and resulting corrosion. The transmission side is a bit more involved. I suggest you get the drive manual for that one. The snout on the flywheel cover doesn't look too good, what kind of shape is the sealing surface for the bellows in?

Re: snapped driveshaft...how to remove?

the seal for the engine side of the bello was very snug! I did have a little oil/water/grease come out of it when i pulled the outdrive off. Thank you for your info...i will attempt to get it out...once out and reapired/replaced...it should just slide right back in and put outdrive back on??? Thanks again.
