1973, 18Hp, Evinrude. <br />Recently rebuilt (other posts by perkdp) <br />with rings, bearings, carb kit, plugs, points, condenser, etc......<br /><br />Sneezes some, mainly at idle when it is first started / cold. Runs like a champ after it warms up. <br /><br />Does this usually indicate idle mixture, link n sync, point gap, ?????? <br /><br />Running about 40:1 (3oz per gal) fuel mix. <br />J4C plugs. Point gap .020, plug gap .030.
