SO I need a new wash down pump

On my 2352-PRO.

SO what say Yee about the FLOJET?
It hasn't lasted long and is seized(5 years)
12Volt
4.5gpm\40psi
12amp.

Should I just get the same one or try a different brand for the same price.

This site has them FS at reasonabl prices....$140 US funds.

There's two types of pumps out there. Ones for fresh water systems on yachts and raw water wash down pumps. The fresh water pumps wont last long pumping raw water. You'll notice that the raw water wash down pumps cost quite a bit more.

I think you got good us out of your old pump. When putting a new one in, make sure the wiring and connections are good. 12 amps is a lot of juice. Low voltage will damage a new pump. Make sure you have a filter in front of your pump. Debris can run pumps as well.

Hey thanks for the reply.

I toook it appart and found a seized bearing on the pump swash plate.The bearing is a VERRY comon p/n and I was able to pick one up for $9 CDN.Put it all together and it tested out like new.......smooth-as-silk

I have a 2004 2302 and I'm on my 3rd one! last one I installed was the Parmax...so far so good after about a yr. they offer 3 yr warr. also
