My wifey has an all consuming hobby - genealogy. She has the harddrive full of all sorts of programs, spreadsheets, photo albums that link to the spreadsheets etc etc etc.

When she builds the tree, she links as many photos as possible to the relevant person. Some are very old, some are recent, army photos, immigration photos, family portraits - anything she can find, she includes.

Unfortunetly (for me) she likes to include a photo of a deceased persons headstone/memorial plaque. These days, cemeteries keep accurate books, they can tell you with pinpoint accuracy where a person is buried, ie: south lawn, section 5, row 9, plaque 20. But not so for burials of yesteryear, it's often a case of having to do the leg work.

So what did I do today? I went grave hunting. 2 cemeteries and ten hours later, we found 14 relatives and documented the sites for eternity.

Now I think I'll go fishin'
