Since last June....... <br /><br />What's this AARP all about,.??...<br /><br />What do you get for the $12.50 @yr.??<br /><br />I know that whenever I see a Political Opinion expressed by the Organization's Mouthpiece,.............<br />It tends to Usually Pi$$ me Off........<br /><br />There's Gotta be abunch of you Old Guys who know what's goin' on........................

About $12.50 a year savings on participating AARP products and services and a card reminding the holder of his increasing age.<br /> <br /><br />Sort of a senior citizen in training status.

I get about $200 a year in discounts at restaurants and motels with my AARP card.<br /><br />I also get annoyed with some of the "official" political positions, but others I agree with.

Thier insurance is cheap, aint worth a damn but its cheap, Had the insurance as supplimental for a year it aint paid a dime, got to go to the hospital to use it. Basically they are telling you your getting old.

That's Cool,.....<br />But,...<br />I Don't eat out,.... The Rare times I'm in a Motel,.. I'm Working,+ the Co. pays,.....<br />I Rarely Fly,....<br /><br />The Insurance is Cheap,... But, No Good,.....<br /><br />Is there Any Other reasons to be a Member,..???<br />Or Not,.???

they give you a nice little paper card to carry in your Wallet that basically says "Im getting Old"<br /> I see no benefit untill you retire and it is a benifit.

If I try hard enough, I can get a better hotel rate than any "senior" discount. The AARP will not knowingly get one dime of my money.<br /><br />(I'm "high maintenance" too... hope my kids and grandkids hit the lotto! )
