Soaked foam q's

Hi i just gutted my boat. And found that the stringers are soaked and so is the foam. My question is will the stringers dry if i leave a tarp over the boat?? And insted of the foam in there can i cut 2' pink foam and glue it together and make it fit snug?

it will never dry out.

if it does , it will soak water like a sponge....its all gotta come out....all of it.

it depends on the boat weither you can use pink foam......some foam is actually structural.....and needs to be replaced......some.....its ok to use pink

Its a 1983 larson ski boat best i can say its a manta. Has a tunnel in the floor to let water from up front in the open bow to go to the back by the ??? splashwell ??
