i have a 17 ft fiberglass hydrostream i pulled the floor up today and it of course has alot of mush it had two pieces of what looks like water soaked foam strip`s running down the center and i`m worried because the fiberglass bottom seems to be soft i can push on it with my foot and it flexes and seems to creek and crackel what do i do i`m aliitle worried to put a floor in the boat i dont wanna waste any money if the boat is just shot

You may have to re-do the entire boat but those hulls are nice. Examine the fiberglass and make sure it is not de-laminating.

They are fast lightweight hulls and you probably need a re-build. It is going to flex but not as much when the stringers are new.
