Hi All. So my boat was built in 1996 (Mariah) and it still has the original bimini and enclosure top. I don't believe the previous owner ever used the top. It's in near perfect condition with no rips or tears. But it's stiff. Like real stiff. Taking it out of the boot and unrolling it feels like you're trying to unfold thick carboard. Same with stowing it back. Is there anything that can be done to loosen it up? Something to spray on it or soak it in? I suspect not, but figured I'd ask. If I have to replace it, I will. But it's OEM branded and in really nice shape (other than being as stiff as plywood!) , figured I'd ask before I throw it in the dumpster. Thanks!

Little pun here. When I first read this thread I thought it said "Softening a Bikini!" Got some ideas right off the bat, assumed while being worn. Grin.

Ok, back to the topic. What's your Bimini made of?
