solas amita 4 blade

i just got the solas amita 4 blade and it came with a spacer and a washer. Does anyone know if I need a thrust washer or not? I called iboats and they weren't sure. I called Solas technical support and the said yes, but then I look at their website and no hub kits were listed? i have a mercruiser alpha 1 drive. Thanks for you help!

Funny... Mine didn't come with it. I just re-used all hardware from my 3 blade. But I did have to change my anode to a farther back offset, since it was a bigger diameter.

My drive is an older unit 888/1. I had to buy a new thinner thrust washer as my new Solas Amita4 prop would not slide down on the prop shaft far enough to allow me to install the splined washer and nut with the old thrust washer.

My prop came with the splined washer and locking ring. I filed a slot in my anode for the prop to clear plus an additional 1/4".

I would not consider running without a prop washer.

I purchased the same prop for my Alpha One Gen II.
Used everything in the box.
Worked great. Excellent Prop.

Thanks for the replies, i unfortunately won't be able to test it out until later. Hopefully one or two more trips this year...
