Still trying to find a prop for my 17.5' Sea Nymph w/ 1995 Evinrude 115. I've been running a 17p Stiletto, getting around 35mph @ 5100 RPM, holeshot is OK, but lots of porpising. Tried out a Powertech RAF in a 15p, ran about 34.5 mph @ 5200 RPM with better grip but much, much slower and little gain in RPM. Boat is stern heavy and many are recommending a 4 blade stern lifting prop. Don't want to drop the big $$$ on SS until I can test, so I would like to try an Amita 4. I'm stuck between the 13p and 15p- I want to gain RPM but don't want a huge drop in speed. I am going to need to spin the prop at 5800 or so to get the speed I want with the reduced pitch. So, I am leaning towards the 13p. Any thoughts here?
