I sold my 1992 Maxum 2100 LDC yesterday, but I have found a 1987 Bayliner 2150 Cierra in TN. It has a OMC 305 with OMC sterndrive. Does anyone have good/bad things to say about a byaliner 2150 cierra? Thanks!

You really like living on the wild side? Being one broken part away from junking the boat because you can't find any replacements!

(at least OMC is SLIGHTLY better... you can get a conversion kit to slap on a different outdrive at least)

As with any boat, it's all about condition, condition, and condition.

As with any Bayliner of that vintage, you MUST carefully check the sole, stringers, and transom for rot.

As with any OMC outdrive, it's about how it's currently working and whether you or your local marine mechanic can/will work on it. If it's in good shape now, it may only last you another 20 years with proper care and feeding.
