Hope someone can help me with this. I have a mercruiser 3.0 and took the trim pump and motor out to clean it up and install new brushes. I should have marked the wires but didn't. now the outdrive will trim down but not up. Installed new solenoid but made no difference. there is only one solenoid and there is a lug on the left and a lug on the right and two small lugs in front of the solenoid. I have power at the left lug and when I jump across the left lug and the small lug on the left of the solenoid it raises the outdrive. What I need is a picture showing where the up (Blue) and the (Green) down wires go on the solenoid. This is a 1975 boat. Searay. Thanks. Bill

Re: solenoid wiring

Are you sure you got the right solenoid? If it has terminals marked S and an I on it, you have the wrong type, and it will not work.
