I am getting ready for a mini voyage departing this Sat .
I have a Regal Commodore model 2860 .
Rarely do I install ensign glass . It is the type glass zipped too the top canvas
At home port I am at dock, when it rains stay in cabin . Since I might be under power and experience our daily FLA afternoon down pours I wanted too have glass ready , which is generally a royal pain in the A_ _ too install .
Testing yesterday discovered port ensign glass side zipper is not connecting . Broken . This ensign glass is apx 4 feet in length apx 3 ft in height . . Has snaps on bottom .and side and that portion connects . As it continues it zips too the front glass . Not enough time too take too a canvas shop
Thought about using Velcro ? Possibly hand sew the two zipper parts together as a temp solution
ANY THOUGHTS to temp connect the two together
Thanks as usual
