Sopranos offending???

I have heard people say that they are offended by HBO's sopranos. What are your thots on the subject? Are you offended by the show?<br /><br />11

i don't have HBO, but there sure is alotta buzz about that show If it is fiction, reaction to it should be in perspective of a fictional show. If it's depicting real people in real situations,or of dipicts historical fact, then it's above critique,because it happened.<br />So,iether way, it's a show,watch if you like,don't if you are offended.<br />I find myself watching South Park often,even tho I find it to be the most offensive thing on TV.<br />But it just so stinkin funny!

The only thing I find that offends me about the show is I'm sick of paying for HBO only to have shows like the sopranos (a soap opera)and Boxing on there... I'd much rather see a movie...<br /><br />I'm with 12Footer... I'll watch South Park all day long....

The Sopranos is the ONLY show on television that I never miss. I love the show. Granted, the story line this year isn't what it's been in the past. But Sunday nights at 8pm, kids are put to bed, the wife watches tv QUIETLY in the other room, Cell phones are turned off, home phone is off the hook, and this Moose is owned by 32" of viewing pleasure. I won't even eat while I'm watching it so as to not miss anything. With the exception of football, I bet I don't watch 4 hours of telly all week... but 1 hour of that is definately devoted to the "goombahs".<br /><br />Is the Sopranos offensive? Probably to some, so what... BIG SUPRISE, I'm interested in something that's offensive to others! I watch South Park too when I get the chance.<br /><br /> What on tv ISN'T offensive to some group of whine-calfs? Years back, a show called All in the Family was on and they hardly had any protests. Ever listen to Archie Bunker's views on racism? Made the Sopranos sound like the Rainbow Coalition.

The only reason we have HBO is for boxing and the sopranos too. I love the show and would not miss it for the world. I am not offended by it. But I overheard a lady saying how it gives women no rights and a bunch of other crap.<br />I find south park to be the dume and will not watch it, but all in the family is right up there with the sopranos on my list.<br /><br />11

Never seen "Trailer Park Boys"... aint never heard of it 'cept from you N-B-N. If I knew where to look, I'd watch it... seems our senses of humor have a wee bit in common <br /><br />-gotta go - Sopranos on in 9 minutes

Don't watch Suprano's and never will.<br /><br />I use to have HBO, but got sick of the re-runs, and soap-opra type sit-coms, (Like supranos)<br /><br />It's my opinion that Sesame Street has better programming than HBO.<br /><br />H.

HEY moose I too LOVE the sobranos11 never miss a show! I also like curb your enthusiasm did you know that that show is made up on the sight?LOL!!! its by the same guy as sienfeld.<br />the sobranos are also very good, there are too many caractors in it now!! and what ever happened to chris's wifes friend who was an FBI agent?

Pay attention Sloop. Christopher aint married to Adrianna. The FBI Chick friendship crumbled when Chris got a little frisky with her like 5 weeks ago. Now with that said, I too like the show. It is funny at times and serious at other times. It does seem to drag on a little to long like most soaps do though.<br />OH MY GOD!!!! WHO KILLED KENNY!!!!
