Well Guys and Gals,
Tonight we bought a 21ft Marada Executive Series Bowrider. 5.0 litre with mercruiser outdrive. Not sure what to do with the Doral ??? may give it to one of the children or just plain sell it. Going to be a sad day when it leaves with all the family memories of them growing up on it, learning to drive it, first water skiing and tubing experiences on the back of it etc etc !!! Bottom line is we have just grown out of it. All the children are either married or have significant others so we need more space.
I will be still around this section as I still love the Doral brand but unfortunately could not find anything suitable and available.
I will post some photos after we pick it up on Thursday.

Wow, congrats Ken. I know you will love the new boat. I felt the same way when we had to sell the Chap 240 and move up.

Re: Sorry Guys

Nice video Rick, How was Pittock ?? When you coming over to Wildwood again ?? We are there pretty much every weekend. New boat got it's first splash there on Saturday. Now it is in the dock waiting for us to come back again !!:D

Sold the Doral pretty much immediately to someone who has had their eye on it for many years. It will have a good home and I will still get to do the service work on it. Cleaned her up yesterday after pulling her from the dock and she looked just great. Going to be a shame to see her go :(

Re: Sorry Guys

Not sure when we will get up to Wildwood next. Season pass already paid for for the truck. Have some work to do on our boat, but thats the joy of owning an older boat :) Looks like a sharp boat you have there. I see you fall into the same category as myself, purchasing a boat that has no forum :( Might do the exterior paint this year on her and do the interior over the next winter. Your new boat need anything or is it a turn key all done up one?

Cheers Rick.

Hi Rick, she is pretty much turnkey. Going to install a new sound system in her and she has a couple of stretched seams where you climb in and out on the back seat boarding ladder side. Other than that she is in great shape. We will be at Wildwood every weekend when I am at home. I am currently in Korea and will be back just before the long weekend. Maybe see you there.
