Need to find prop with pitch in range of 20 - 22 for Mercury ELPT 2004 before I decide to buy it.
Problems:
1- Non standard pitch for 50 hp = common listing tools limit options available to 17 in.
2- Looks like I need to search in racing props where the references are no longer based on make and model but on gear housing size and / or # of splines.
3- Mercury dealer cannot pinpoint the info without serial # and #s on the lower gear case.

Questions : Are the following findings reliable?
Big foot version
gear housing size all 4.25?
# of splines all 15?
Gear ratio all 2.32?

Standard version :
gear housing size all 3.44?
# of splines all 13?
Gear ratio all 1.83?

Go onto a site like scream and fly or contact a custom prop maker like Ron Hill. Michigan customer service MAY be able to help some as they used to be one of the big racing prop makers for Mercs.

Go to the Mercury Racing web site and check out a prop designed for 40-60 hp outboards called the T.E. Clever. It's in the prop section.

Mercury Racing also has a motor called the 60 EFI Formula Race that uses a production 1.83 gear case. They have a line of lab finished race props available for it.

These props are not cheap, but they are the best available.
