Source for pole light bases

The wires running to the pins in my pole light bases are shot. I guess my options are to replace the entire base, the pin, or the socket. I'm not having any luck finding a matching base, nor one big enough to cover the existing holes. Does anyone know of a place that will sell just the socket part that I can stick into my existing base hardware?

Have you tried EBAY or CRAIGSLIST? There are a ton of people parting out boats.

I have already ordered parts for an '88 bayliner from those 2.

Re: Source for pole light bases

Here is an idea....

If you can't find a new base big enough to cover the old hole, then cut a piece of 1/4" plexy large enough to cover the hole and be screwed on around the parimeter. Cut a hole in the plexy for the new smaller base. Sand the edges of the plexy smooth, should have a nice satin finish. Paint the bottom side of the plexy black or while or a matching color to the boat and install the plexy and new base.

The painted bottom will look nice through the clear plexy, and the new base will be properly fitted.

I dunno if you're near a Northern Tool and Equipment, but they're having a sale ATM... clearing out their boat stuff. I picked up one of these bases for about $4.

Look around, they're a pretty common, standard item.
