Space Coast Skiing Locations?

Anyone live around Florida's space coast that can point out some places to ski that have decent water and aren't in manatee zones? I've been tooling around the Banana River and the Indian River surrounding Merritt Island. Haven't found any glassy water yet (except at the butt crack of dawn). Hoping someone here is from the area and can help out.

go inland to some of the really nice lakes. on nice days we go outside, at Ponce Inlet.
