I have a 3.5 HP outboard lying around and want to use it as an auxillary. It is 4 stroke and I know it will get me out of trouble. The issue is, do you think my boat has enough room to mount another outboard?

You'll have to use a motor bracket. They can be expensive and you must mout them just right, so that the motor is low enough in the down position and high enough in the up position. That means you will have to do a lot of measuring and make sure that you have access to where the bolts will have to penetrate the transom.
