Spark + fuel+ compression still won't start!

I have a 2007 24 hp 4 stroke efi mercury that has run flawless it's whole life until yesterday. It started perfectly and idled great on the way out of the marina then I went to get on plane and it sputtered horribly. I tried to let it run its self out of it for a moment then decided I need to get back to the dock. I made it 50 feet from the dock and couldn't get it to start no matter what. I checked and I have spark, compression and fuel. I'm at a loss from here!

I should add that I sprayed a little starting fluid in the cylinder to bypass the fuel system and still wouldn't fire. The spark I do have doesn't seem to be as strong as it should be as we'll.

A 4 stroke also needs precise timing of the valves, injection and ignition. I don't know your engine, but if there is a belt driving the cam and/or ignition it may have slipped.

Did you try unplugging the kill wire ?
Black with yellow stripe.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's all electronic on this motor?

I have not, I did a quick look for it but didn't see it. I bet I can find a diagram some where. I will try that and post the results. (Should I try to do a normal start routine with it disconnected ?)

I'm starting to wonder if the fuel is actually making it all the way to the cylinders

Somebody locally thought it would be 1 or a combination of power pack, regulator and or "trigger".....?

I've just about got this one by the balls boys. Long story short the "good fuel" I was trying to get in the cylinders wasn't making it because the fuel system was full. I'm working on getting the bad fuel out but I at least have it running. Ruff but running at least.
