spark plug for a Merc 4hp single cyl.

what is the best plug for this single cyl kicker ???? is has a surface gap plug but that seems odd for a 60'S motor

Need a Serial # and Mercury did put surface gap plugs in their motors. Ask the mod to move this to the Mercury forum
