Spark plug gap on Mercruiser 170

I have a Mercruiser 170 in my 1986 Chaparral 187. Does anyone know what the proper spark plug gap and where the timing should be set?<br /><br />Thanks in advance,<br />Dave

.035<br /><br />It is on a sticker on the engine.
