Spark Plug gap.

I have a 96 25 H.P. three cyl. Johnson what is the gap set. THANKS in advance.

25, 35 (3-Cylinder) 1995 - 2001 QL82C gap at .030

Narvlebenoit your engine uses the Champion QL86C spark plug. 30 thousand is the correct gap. The QL82C is for the twin cylinder 30/25/20.

which plugs do you have in the motor, im curious now, every chart i look at shows the ql82c

In the motor now I have QL86C but Iam going with NGK BR6HS thats what the guy at NAPA said the match from champion to NGK was THANKS again for the info guys.hope its right.

You might find yourself wishing you had stayed with the champions. Johnsons and Evinrudes seem to prefer them.

no big one I just thought I would try the NGK but I will get a set of champion plugs to and keep in the boat two dont hurt to have a extra set.Thanks hidef
