I have a 2004 Mercury 3.0L 225 EFI motor. The manual calls for Champion QL77CC plugs. Would it be ok to switch to NGK plugs?

Thanks!

As long as they are the exact cross referenced plug according to Merc the answer is yes. Call Merc, don't trust website cross references they are often wrong.

Re: Spark Plug Question?

Never use anyones cross reference to change brands of spark plugs go to the spark plug manufactures current catalog and look up the manufactures recommendation as the recommendations can change annually.
