Spark Plug wire replacement

I have read several posts asking about fixing spark plug wires. I just wanted to post this for all those who own an Outboard with the plug boat and wire all integrated in the Coil. You can cut the old ends off and buy new boots and plug connectors at NAPA for 6 bucks as opposed to the 145.00 bucks the replacement Coils cost.<br /><br />Simply cut the old boot off. Strip about 1/2 inch of the conductor wire and fold this over. Crimp on new Plug connector. Leave the boots till last, heat them with a blow dryer or the sun, and slide them back over the connectors.
