Does anyone have a drawing of spark plug wire routing for a 1961 Evinrude 18 H.P. Fastwin model 15034?

Re: Spark plug wire routing

I meant after it leaves the armature plate. Do wires dive down when leaving the plate? Do they go down before or after fuel bowl?

Okay not exactly sure how your 1961 Evinrude engine is wired, but here are two pictures of how my 1976 Johnson 40 HP was wired before I disassebled it to rebuild... Hope this does help you out... Boat-78.jpgBoat-79.jpg

Re: Spark plug wire routing

Thanks for tying but my Ignition coils are mounted on the armature plate and rotate back and fourth with throttle / spark advance mechanism. This is why the spark plug wire routing is important because they rube back and fourth with throttle movement.

Bob it is not all that important. Just leave enough slack for the mag plate movement. I like to keep them tucked in as well.
