hello to all. I have a 1989 Baja islander 190 3.0 mercruiser. I’m doing a tune up on it and looking at prices. Should I pay $45 for a wire set or $15. Is there really that much of a difference other than price. Im hoping to only have it one more season before trying to sell it. Thank you for any info

Plug wires are plug wires, only difference is size of insulation jacket, what jacket is made from, and resistance or non resistance. If you can find ones that will fit for 15 and are similar type I would use them

I would invest the $15 or the $45 to have NEW so your chance of a wire failure is eliminated for the coming season and will be a selling point to a potential buyer showing you have properly cared for the rig.Charlie
