What type of wire is the spark plug wires for a '82 J140TLCNB? Are they resistive (noise suppression) or plain wire?

Copper core spark plug wire, non resistive. Preferrably tinned copper wire.

Re: Spark Plug Wire Type

Well, now I guess I'm confused. After I posted my question, I found wires on ishopmarine for this motor and it looks like they show both "spiral wound" and "silicon carbon core" as choices. This would seem to indicate that it really doesn't make any difference unless you have sensitive electronics on board. However, I suspect "spiral wound" copper would be more dependable and possibly produce a hotter spark.
