Spark plug wires

Well here's the deal. I have a 1990 3.0 Mercruiser. I pulled my motor out this winter because I had a oil pan leak. While I had it on the stand I thought I would check everything over and replace old parts, hoses, paint it, etc. When I took the spark plug wires off I made a diagram of how the wires go. Now 2 months later I can't find the diagram. How and what is the best way to figure this out how they go back on. Please help!!!!!

Get a manual. Or look at the top of the distributor cap. I bet it is marked with the cylinder numbers.
